Please note that Auckland Transport (AT) bus, train and ferry fares will increase on 1 February 2026.
For adults using an AT HOP card or contactless payment this means:
- Train and bus trips will cost up to 25 cents more
- Ferry trips will increase by up to 60 cents
- The good news: the $50 7-day fare cap for AT HOP card users remains!
The new fares will apply from 12.01AM on Sunday, 1 February. You can see them in Auckland Transport’s (AT) Journey Planner from that date. For more information, click here.
