Lunar New Year Lights
In celebration of Lunar New Year, the city centre's most iconic street will be lit in a vibrant red and gold from 10 February to 4 March 2026!
In partnership with Vector Lights and Auckland Council.
The city centre boasts a great feature that brings its streets to life to mark events and celebrations that we all cherish.
In partnership with Auckland Council and Vector, the tree up-lights on Queen Street from Customs Street up to Victoria Street including Vulcan Lane bring more nighttime vibrancy to this part of the city.
The LED tree lights also link up with the Vector Lights on the Harbour Bridge and the Sky Tower lights to celebrate special occasions such as Lunar New Year, Christmas, Diwali and Breast Cancer Awareness Month a with a changing palette of colours.
