Presence | Saskia Eliane | From 4 MAR
Featuring works by Saskia Eliane, the exhibition brings forward humanity in its rawness and beauty - where the figure becomes a site of weight, vulnerability, and connection.
Saskia Eliane paints at the thresholds of presence and absence, where form, surface, and materiality suggest more than they define. Inspired by metaphysical ideas, her work moves between figuration and abstraction, allowing shapes and bodies to emerge, linger, and recede. The surfaces she constructs through layers of abstract mark-making, which she then deconstructs and rebuilds, create an experience of seeing that is fluid rather than fixed.
Across intimate and larger-scale works, Eliane investigates how material, form, and perception interact, inviting viewers to slow down and discover unexpected connections within each piece.

Selected works by Lilo Tauvao | From 4 MAR
Born in New Zealand and raised in California, Tauvao’s practice spans sculpture and painting, exploring identity, mythology, and memory. He draws on Samoan heritage and stories shared by his mother, while also reflecting influences from Gustav Klimt, Frank Frazetta, pop culture, and science fiction.
From early sketches in church hymnals to crafting makeshift swords in his father’s workshop, Tauvao’s self-driven path led to a career in concept art, sculpture, and painting for film and television. Bold and luminous, his work celebrates the strength and beauty of the Samoan people, weaving ancestral narratives with elemental forces of land, ocean, and fire, carrying cultural memory forward while shaping new visual worlds.
